Additionally, U.S. News & World Report ranked the hospital #2 in the St. Louis metro area. **Preferred Qualifications** **Role Purpose** The Unit Secretary performs clerical duties supporting the operations of the patient care team. **Responsibilities** + Supports the clinical operations by providing customer service and clerical support. + Transcribes physician orders as appropriate with close attention to detail. + Notifies appropriate nurse when STAT orders are written or when coordinating tests and procedures.
