Job Description

Reports To: Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager

Purpose of the Job: Assist in daily financial responsibilities of the company by maintaining financial records, analyzing financial results and information requests, preparing and processing rebates, and communicating with appropriate parties.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Support financial analysis of the company's results and business proposals

• Assist with sales forecasting for certain items and/or locations

• Resolve any issues related to rebate or customer spend payments

• Maintain wholesaler and retailer rebate contracts

• Prepare, process, and reconcile quarterly/semi-annual/annual retailer rebate payments and wholesaler quarterly payments

• Prepare Vendor-Customer pass through rebates and provide supporting documents to our customers/vendors

• Calculate, process, and track placement fees and other customer spend

• Reconcile and prepare month-end work papers

• Assist with year-end audit and tax preparation requests

• Other duties and projects as assigned

Education:

• Associate's degree in accounting or finance

Experience:

• 2-4 years relevant work experience required (minimum 5 years in lieu of degree)

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) required

Physical and Working Environment:

• Working Hours: General office hours, typically 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with flexibility for business and personal needs.

• Working Environment: Work usually performed in an office setting and distribution center with noise level typical of most office environments with telephones, forklifts, personal interruptions, and background noises.

• Tools and Equipment Used: Computer, tablet, e-mail, phone, and other standard office equipment.

• Travel: No regular travel.

• Physical Demands: Ability to lift and carry up to 40lbs on occasion; digital dexterity and hand/eye to operate equipment such as computer keyboard, calculator, and standard office equipment. Ability to effectively communicate with customers, suppliers, or employees remotely and in person; ability to travel by airplane or automobile.
