Pay Range: $33 - $59/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality pre- and post-procedural nursing care using the nursing process and evidence-based practice
• Perform patient assessments, care planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Monitor patients before and after GI procedures and respond to changes in condition
• Deliver patient- and family-centered education related to procedures and recovery
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Serve as a preceptor/mentor as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Support quality improvement, patient safety, and compliance standards
• Participate in shared governance, professional development, and competency requirements

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Key Skills; Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical judgment skills
• Experience in procedural, pre-op/post-op, GI, or acute care settings preferred
• Strong communication, teamwork, and time-management skills
• Ability to work PRN day shifts
• Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Licensure & Certifications (required upon hire):
• Active RN License (Single-State of Georgia or Compact)
• BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• Minimum 1 years direct patient care nursing experience
• Ability to deliver individualized care in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Commitment to Hospital care standards, safety policies, and code of conduct
• Ability to work night shift (for this specific role)
