Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Water Resources Manager located in Northern Arizona (Flagstaff, Prescott, Payson) areas. The Water Resources Manager will be responsible for overseeing water resource management, ensuring water supply reliability, and managing wastewater treatment processes. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring water quality, implementing stormwater and groundwater management practices, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. The role also involves collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to maintain effective water management practices.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Water Resource Management and Water Supply
• Experience in Wastewater Treatment and Water Quality management
• Knowledge of Stormwater management practices
• Supervisory experience with the ability to improvise
• Knowledge of parts needed for repairs/maintenance and regional procurement sources
• Working relationship with regional contractors i.e. water haulers, electricians, excavation companies etc.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Prior experience with CMMS platforms, Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Professional certification in water resources or a related field is a plus
