LHH is partnering with a respected mid-sized Boston law firm seeking a senior-level Trusts & Estates attorney to join its collaborative and growing team. This rare opportunity is part of a long-term succession plan and offers the chance to lead a growing practice , with a clear path to equity partnership for the right candidate.

As a key member of the Trusts & Estates group, you’ll:

• Draft and administer complex trusts and estates
• Manage probate court filings and estate tax return preparation
• Advise high-net-worth individuals and families on estate planning strategies
• Collaborate closely with senior partners and mentor junior attorneys
• Play a central role in client relationship management and strategic planning

The ideal candidate will have:

• At least 5 years of experience in trusts & estates law
• Strong knowledge of probate court procedures and estate tax returns
• Massachusetts Bar admission (or eligibility to waive in)
• A Tax LLM is a plus, but not required
• Professionalism, integrity, and a collaborative mindset

Compensation:

• Base salary starts at $140,000, commensurate with experience and class year
• Bonus structure: $50/hour for billables over 1,400 hours (no minimum requirement)
• 15% of originations
• Comprehensive benefits including: health care coverage (with a co-pay), life insurance, long-term disability, paid family leave, profit-sharing, including a 401(k) plan (subject to length of service eligibility), and three weeks paid vacation
