Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in HVAC system design for commercial buildings. This is a production-focused role requiring active involvement in design, documentation, client coordination, and site inspection.

Note: This is not a management-track position.

Key Responsibilities

• Design advanced HVAC systems for diverse commercial building types.
• Collaborate directly with clients, including architects, to gather requirements and coordinate design execution.
• Perform comprehensive site inspections during construction phases.
• Prepare high-quality construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience within an MEP engineering consulting firm serving architectural clients.
• Strong expertise in the design and construction of:
• Hydronic systems (chilled water, hot water, steam)
• Building Automation Systems (BAS)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is mandatory.
• Strong willingness to focus on production-oriented, hands-on design work.

Preferred Qualifications (A Plus)

• Experience designing HVAC systems for hospitals and healthcare facilities .
• Experience with Trace 700 for:
• Building cooling load calculations
• Energy modeling
