Job Title: Security Officer
Location: Philadelphia PA
Duration: 5+ Months Contract
Note: Temp-to-Perm (Conversion expected within 3–6 months).

Must-Have Skills:
Ability to operate vehicles with a clean driving record

Ability to work rotating shifts (days, nights, weekends, holidays)
Ability to wear a respirator
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Hospital or healthcare security experience
Prior law enforcement, military, or criminal justice experience
CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification
Healthcare security certification
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff
Perform entry screening, ID checks, badge enforcement, and patrols (foot and vehicle)
Respond to routine and emergency security calls and document incidents
Provide visitor assistance, way finding, and customer service
Assist clinical teams during aggressive patient situations and restraint events
Enforce enterprise security policies and escort unauthorised individuals
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED (required)
PA Act 235 certification (must be active prior to submission)
Active driver’s license with clean driving record (required)
Ability to qualify for insurance and drive vehicles
Willingness to obtain CPI certification within 6 months of hire
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice, Management, or related field
1+ year experience in hospital security, law enforcement, military, or related field
Certified Healthcare Security Officer (IAHSS)
