Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Certified Medical Assistant, located in the Columbia, South Carolina Metropolitan Area. The Certified Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting healthcare providers in patient care, managing medical records, preparing examination rooms, scheduling appointments, and coordinating with the medical office team. Additional responsibilities include performing basic clinical tasks, understanding medical terminology, and ensuring timely and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Medical Assisting and familiarity with routine clinical procedures
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology and its application in patient care and documentation
• Experience handling Medical Office tasks including appointment scheduling and administrative coordination
• Strong skills in Patient Care and managing patient interactions with professionalism and empathy
• Ability to maintain and organize accurate Medical Records
• Relevant certifications or a diploma in Medical Assisting
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
• CPR certification and prior experience in a clinical setting are an advantage
