Job Title: Salesforce Fonteva Senior Developer

Location: Washington, DC (Onsite 2 days/week)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce Fonteva Senior Developer to lead technical efforts and enhancements for our Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will hold at least two Salesforce certifications, including Platform Developer I, and have a strong background in developing and customizing Salesforce applications. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, designing scalable solutions, and contributing to enterprise-wide initiatives using Fonteva and Salesforce technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead development and configuration tasks on the Salesforce platform, especially Fonteva Membership systems
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives
  • Automate workflows using Salesforce tools such as Flows, Process Builder, and validation rules
  • Integrate Salesforce with third-party tools and internal systems
  • Develop Apex classes, SOQL queries, and Visualforce pages
  • Collaborate with internal IT and business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
  • Troubleshoot bugs, test new features, and ensure overall system stability
  • Document system customizations and contribute to team knowledge-sharing
  • Act as a subject matter expert for Salesforce best practices and Fonteva functionality

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of Salesforce development experience
  • Minimum of two Salesforce certifications (including Platform Developer I)
  • Hands-on experience with Fonteva platform
  • Proficiency in Apex, SOQL, and Salesforce configuration
  • Experience working in agile environments
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Prior experience in nonprofit or membership-based associations

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with MuleSoft and third-party Salesforce integrations
  • Experience with Personify, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Marketing Cloud
  • Familiarity with SQL, Power BI, and data visualization tools
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
