Job Description

Must Haves:

• At least 3 – 7 years’ experience in construction safety.
• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Health or Environmental Applied Sciences or related discipline preferred.
• CHST or OSHA 500 Required (CSP or ASP will also be accepted in lieu of those).
• Certifications in CPR and First Aid preferred.
• OSHA 30hr required

Day-to-day:

• We are seeking a safety professional to assist the Division Safety Manager and other safety coordinators to ensure Southland Industries meets all safety requirements
• You will be in the field and on site at the data center in Milwaukee, WI to help manage and coordinate all division safety activities
• Tours and inspects small or large, complex job sites to ensure compliance with company, state and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations
• Maintains all site required documentation related to safety issues, including accident reports, inspection reports and training logs
• Documents information for the investigation of accidents and injuries and submits data to regulatory agencies as required and consults with manager on decisions that significantly impact the company
