Job Description

Come work for a growing company with opportunities for advancement and a great atmosphere just outside of Orlando, located in the heart of beautiful Winter Park. Close to main highways and plenty of parking. This is  NOT an MLM or 10-99/commission only position. This is W-2 salary plus bonus/ commission & benefits. We pay 100% of health, vision, & dental benefits after 90 days. Additionally, we offer PTO , Vacation & paid holidays after 90 days. There is a 401k with a match after 12 months. You will  NOT need to bring your own computer, call any of your relatives/ friends, generate or pay for any of your own leads. We have more people to help than we have agents/ advisors!

Retirement Planner responsibilities include:

Job responsibilities-

  • Managing information flow in a timely and accurate manner. Return all client calls and emails within 24 hours
  • Managing your calendar and setting up meetings
  • Answer & log incoming phone calls (leads, existing clients & others)
  • Make clients & partners feel welcome.
  • Reach out (phone / email) to existing & prospective clients to schedule appointments.
  • Participate in live (seminar/ event based) & virtual (webinar/on camera) marketing events.
  • Running virtual & in-person consultations to assess client needs, goals & priorities.
  • Build retirement plans that match client needs.
  • Product research & quotes (health, medicare, life, annuity) for prospective/ existing clients
  • Following up with account custodians to make sure that transfers go through.
  • Communicating with clients & carriers to make sure that proper paperwork is received and in good order.
  • Understanding & explaining the Florida Retirement System

Requirements:

  • Be a “people person” with a positive attitude
  • Proficient- Google Workplace products- Google Docs/Sheets/Drive, Gmail
  • Experience in a financial services office (Insurance, Investments, etc) especially working with public employees (teachers, 403b, 457 market)
  • Familiarity with office gadgets and applications (e.g. e-calendars and copy machines)
  • Reliable transportation & punctuality a must (this position is  In-Person at least 9am to 6PM )
  • Excellent verbal (phone) and written (email) communications skills
  • Discretion and confidentiality are essential for protecting our clients information
  • High School diploma required, 2 or 4- year Degree a plus (Business, Finance, Marketing, Communications, etc.)
  • Social media & public speaking skills (on camera talent, video editing, platform knowledge- LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram) a plus
  • CRM skills/certifications (especially HubSpot) a plus
  • 215 insurance license REQUIRED
  • Series 65 license or the willingness to get it a plus. (We do not use B/D licenses- 6, 63 etc. You would need to get a 65 if you wish to do AUM)
  • Notary license a plus

Compensation:

  • $40k - $50k base salary plus commission & bonuses. $200k plus potential (Realistically!)
  • Health, Dental, Vision 100% paid after 90 days
  • PTO, Vacation time & paid holidays after 90 days
  • 401k with a match after 12 months

Pay: $100,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
