Registered Nurse (RN) – Behavioral Health

Location:

Oxnard, CA (Clinic-based; split schedule between two local clinics)

Schedule:

Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Bilingual Requirement:

Preferred (Spanish), not required

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to support a behavioral health clinic serving children, youth, and families . This role involves direct clinical support, medication coordination, and close collaboration with psychiatric providers and administrative staff. The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, and comfortable working with a pediatric and adolescent behavioral health population.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer Invega injections
• Obtain and document patient vitals
• Conduct nasal swab drug testing
• Work closely with psychiatric providers to support patient care
• Coordinate with office administrators to facilitate medication refills
• Link patients with providers to ensure timely access to medications
• Support a youth and family caseload , ages 5–18

Work Environment

• Clinic-based role across two local clinic locations
• Collaborative, multidisciplinary behavioral health team
• Patient-centered, supportive care model

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Comfortable working with a behavioral health population
• Strong communication and care coordination skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Spanish bilingual (preferred, not required)
• Prior behavioral health experience is ideal, but not required
• Open to RNs from other clinical backgrounds who are interested in transitioning into behavioral health
