Job Description

Required Education:

• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline, preferably in Mathematics, Operations or Supply Chain

Required Experience, Knowledge & Skills:

• 1-2 years experience in a manufacturing setup (any industry)

• Knowledgeable about the basics of Inventory Management & Production Planning

• Should have good Analytical Skills

• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs

Preferred Experience, Knowledge & Skills:

• SAP knowledge

Production Planner Associate Overview:

• The Production Planner will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring production activities for assigned products as well as the flow of goods between assigned client facilities within North America.

• The purpose of the position is to optimize the scheduling of manufactured products and the movement of finished goods so as to achieve outstanding customer service, meet Net Working Capital goals, and best utilize space in the network of distribution centers.

• The Production Planner Associate will also have replenishment responsibility for selected suppliers/Production as assigned by the Production Planning Supervisor.

Job Duties:

• Schedule production in accordance with plan and customer requirements for assigned products

• Plan and execute purchase orders for assigned suppliers/Production

• Analyze and report plant performance against schedule requirements

• Plan and execute transfer orders between assigned warehouses
