About the Opportunity One of the world’s most admired employers is seeking a Procurement Specialist to lead strategic sourcing initiatives in the Marketing category as part of a 12-month contract opportunity. This role is critical to managing complex third-party spend and contracts that directly impact brand, growth, and global marketing operations.
Ideal candidates will bring deep expertise in marketing procurement, contract lifecycle management, stakeholder alignment, and the use of data analytics to drive sourcing strategy. You’ll play a key role in supporting transformation efforts across procurement while optimizing value from marketing partners and programs.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end procurement activities across the U.S. Marketing category, including vendor selection, contracting, and negotiation
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and legal teams to develop Statements of Work (SOWs) and manage the contract lifecycle
Facilitate structured sourcing processes (RFPs, RFIs) and manage supplier evaluations using scorecards and stakeholder input
Apply data analytics to optimize sourcing decisions and provide spend visibility using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik
Analyze marketing staffing plans, campaign objectives, and supplier proposals to guide procurement strategy
Support global procurement collaboration, with light international exposure
Actively contribute to procurement transformation efforts, including process automation, GenAI integration, and data governance initiatives
What You Bring
Minimum Qualifications
~7–10 years of sourcing/procurement experience, with specific expertise in Marketing categories
~ Strong experience in contract development and administration, including SOW creation and supplier performance terms
~ Comfortable translating complex data into business insights; able to use data visualization tools and procurement platforms (e.g., Coupa, Oracle)=
~ Skilled in stakeholder engagement, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic communication
~ Ability to lead multiple projects in a fast-paced enterprise environment
Preferred Experience
Background in BPO, PR, SEO, digital media, or other marketing-related services
Exposure to procurement transformation programs or new technology adoption
Strong understanding of third-party spend optimization, vendor management, and sourcing best practices
Prior experience working in a global setting or with international sourcing touchpoints
STEM or analytics-related educational background is a plus
Global sourcing experience or oversight of international vendor relationships is a plus
