Primary Role:
The primary role is a Paralegal 2 position that supports patent operations by managing incoming IP documents, coordinating workflows like signature routing and award logistics, and assisting with special projects.
Required Skills:
1. Minimum 2+ years experience with Patent Operations / IP Administration (USPTO, EPO, WIPO documents)
2. Minimum 1-2 years experience with Anaqua or Similar IP Management System
3. Minimum 2+ years experience with M365 Proficiency (especially intermediate to early-advanced Excel skills)
4. Strong organizational skills
5. Verbal and written communication skills
6. Attention to detail
7. Customer service and interpersonal skills
Preferred Skills:
1. Paralegal certification
2. Prior experience processing both US and foreign patents
3. Familiarity with the patent website and office
4. Previous experience with intellectual property
Years of Experience:
2-4 years of overall experience in the field, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in patent operations or intellectual property administration.
Industry Experience:
Experience in patent operations, intellectual property administration, or a related field, preferably in a large enterprise tech company.
Education Requirements:
No degree is required, but an Associate's degree in paralegal studies and a certificate in paralegal studies are preferred.
