Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students with physical, developmental, or cognitive challenges
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to ensure student success
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly
• Recommend and implement assistive technology and accommodations
• Educate and support staff and families on strategies to enhance student independence and participation
• Maintain thorough documentation of therapy sessions, goals, and student outcomes

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Occupational Therapist (OT) License
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and school-based therapy
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Passion for supporting student growth and success in a school setting
