Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled, compassionate, and experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our state-of-the-art facility in Glens Falls. In this critical role, you will be part of an innovative, patient-centered care team focused on excellence in diagnostic imaging and nuclear medicine.
You’ll perform complex diagnostic procedures using radiopharmaceuticals , including PET and SPECT scans , to help detect and treat various medical conditions. You’ll also serve as a mentor and resource for newer technologists, demonstrating advanced clinical knowledge and leadership.
Salary Range: $86,650.99 - $134,309.04
Day Shift
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and administer radioactive substances to patients in accordance with safety standards
- Operate imaging equipment (PET/SPECT) to capture detailed diagnostic images
- Independently perform complex nuclear imaging procedures
- Process images using advanced imaging acquisition software
- Support and mentor junior Nuclear Medicine Technologists (NMTs)
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and clarity throughout all procedures
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with hospital protocols
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/G.E.D. – required
- Associate’s Degree from an approved two-year AMA Nuclear Medicine program – required
- 4–6 years of related experience – required
- New York State Nuclear Medicine Technologist License – required
- Certified by ARDMS , ARRT (N) , or NMTCB – required upon hire
- CPR Certification – required
