Job Title: Medical Assistant
Location : Providence, RI, 02906
Shift : 08:00am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
Schedule : 5 days a week - 40 hours
Roles and Responsibilities
This position is responsible for assisting the physicians with clinical procedures as well as providing clerical support when assigned.
This role functions as the primary link between the patient and the practice.
In addition, serves as liaison between the practice and outside support services.
Coordinates schedules with professional staff and schedules appointments.
Registers patients, verifying insurance coverage and appropriate referrals, answers telephone and directs calls appropriately.
