Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Fitter/HVAC Installer located in Lynchburg, VA. Responsibilities include installation, repair, maintenance, and fitting of Commercial Kitchen exhaust hood systems and mechanical components. The role involves performing scheduled preventive maintenance, working with machinery, and ensuring proper machining and fitting standards are met. The selected candidate will work collaboratively with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely.

Qualifications

• Experience with Fabricating & Fitting and working HVAC ductwork
• Skills in welding a plus and the operation & use of related HVAC tools
• An understanding of safety protocols and the ability to follow instructions accurately
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities related to mechanical systems
• Prior experience or certification in HVAC installation is preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus
• Physical stamina and the ability to work surrounding area of 100 mile radius &d overrtime
