Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers with a friendly, welcoming approach & assist with their meat orders
• Accurately process orders, ensuring highest quality, correct quantity and price
• Engage customers with suggestive selling to promote products and drive sales
• Handle returns and exchanges according to store procedures
• Cut and grind meat to meet Boyer s standards of excellence
• Keep display cases full, clean, and attractive while rotating stock
• Ensure all products are fresh, properly labeled, and safe for sale
• Maintain a clean, organized department, adhering to food safety & sanitation procedures
• Follow all store and department policies to ensure quality and safety
• Work closely with the Meat Manager to meet dept. goals and maintain operations
• Perform additional tasks as assigned to support department success

Essential Qualifications/Skills:

• Food Prep Experience Preferred
• Ability to read, write, and do basic math
• Strong attention to detail, including smell, sight, and color recognition
• Clear communication skills and excellent customer service
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with precision
• Safety-conscious, with the ability to work efficiently & safely in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Equipment Operated (including but not limited to):

• Meat Saw, Grinder, Cuber, Hand Wrapper, Scales, Knives, Cleaning Utensils, etc.
