LHH is working directly with one of the named Partners of a high end boutique firm in the Columbus, Ohio area. This Partner is seeking to retire in 5-6 years and is noting succession planning for her role/the firm as part of this opportunity.
The firm focuses almost exclusively on two practice areas, including Labor and Employment Law and Litigation. The traditional employment work is heavily focused on contract negotiation for C-Suite level executives as well as federal claims, civil rights, severance, etc. The firm also represents companies in traditional labor matters/disputes.
The firm is a family friendly environment looking for someone with 2+ years of sophisticated L&E experience (on the Plaintiff side or the management side), excellent writing skills, and that values their work product over their billable hours (with 1600 hours being the flexible goal).
The firm would be excited to see candidates with measured academic success (top 20% of their class) and/or candidates that attended top law schools (top 50).
