Salary Range: Up to $115,000 (based on experience)

Schedule: Hybrid

We are seeking a talented Interior Designer to join our team and contribute to the conceptual design, development, and execution of innovative interior environments. This role requires a balance of creativity, technical expertise, and strong organizational skills to deliver projects that are both aesthetically compelling and aligned with client goals, budgets, and functional needs.

Responsibilities

• Interpret, organize, and execute the conceptual design of projects, ensuring creativity, foresight, and sound judgment throughout.
• Lead programming efforts including space planning, layouts, and utilization of furnishings, equipment, lighting, and color coordination.
• Develop innovative design concepts that are practical, safe, and aligned with client vision and budget.
• Coordinate and present color and material palettes.
• Select and specify furniture, lighting, flooring, wall coverings, and artwork; prepare material estimates and preliminary cost projections.
• Incorporate integrated sustainable design solutions into all projects.
• Render conceptual design ideas and prepare 2D/3D presentation drawings.
• Prepare and conduct client presentations with clarity and professionalism.
• Prepare, correct, and update documents during schematic design and design development phases.
• Solicit bids and assist Project Managers and clients in subcontracting fabrication, installation, and arrangement of materials, finishes, and furnishings.
• Ensure project or project phase remains on schedule and within scope.
• Coordinate with other disciplines, vendors, and contractors to ensure design requirements are fully incorporated.
• Support construction administration by responding to RFIs and COs, and reviewing shop drawings.
• Implement and adhere to firm standards across all projects and processes.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff; participate in performance evaluations and recruiting when appropriate.
• Foster a collaborative, client-focused, and sustainable work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field (or foreign equivalent).
• 4–7+ years of professional experience working on commercial interiors projects.
• Strong design sensibility, with the ability to translate concepts into functional and compelling spaces.
• Proficiency in design software and presentation tools (AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a collaborative team setting.
