  • Competitive pay of $75–80/hr, paid weekly, with access to health and retirement benefits

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise department leads and foster a supportive and values-aligned team environment
  • Serve as the key liaison to the Board Chair and participate in regular Board meetings
  • Ensure program stability and staff morale during the executive leadership transition
  • Represent the organization at community engagements and public events, as needed
  • Maintain strong relationships with volunteers, staff, and partner organizations

  • Assist with the navigation of challenges specific to serving Skid Row’s vulnerable population
  • Contribute to a culture of faith, reflection, inclusion, and service
  • Other executive-level duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Deep alignment with the mission and values of the organization (religious affiliation not required)
  • Strong interpersonal and team-building skills with a servant leadership style
  • Ability to operate with integrity, emotional intelligence, and a calm presence under pressure
  • Experience supporting vulnerable populations and navigating the complexities of urban service environments
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and provide hands-on leadership
  • Comfortable working onsite in downtown Los Angeles, ideally Tuesday–Saturday
