• Control of Extrusion, T-Die, Casting, Annealing, and Embossing unit operations, including setting and monitoring parameters for specific products and thicknesses.
• Coordinating consumption of raw materials, both Main material from the Mixing process and scrap from the Crushing process.
• Maintain sheet thickness, making adjustments to extrusion and T-die processes when needed.
• Setting Draw values and monitoring sheet appearance, especially for annealing and embossing processes.
• Monitoring quality characteristics of the material (visual, measured) and responding appropriately.
• Recording parameters used in Shift Reporting documentation.
• Troubleshooting non-conformances in product quality.
• Leading in Line Startup and Shutdown activities.
• Leading in Product Changeover activities during continuous operation.
• Participating in non-standard work procedures such as T-die cleaning, roll cleaning, or mesh filter changes.
• Coordinating equipment upkeep activities with other relevant team members.
• Conduct the primary check of major mid-inspection tests and record the testing results.
• Compare testing results to specifications, and take action on non-conformances.
• Monitor employee and facility safety, including PPE usage and procedures.
• Be prepared to act as First Responder in emergency situations.
