Responsibilities:
- Working with Tier-1/OEM team for acceptance, release & improvements.
- Should coordinate with engineers located at different global technical centers.
- Co-ordination with OEM and supplier resident engineer if required.
- Team player, Self-learner/motivated.
- Own responsibilities.
Requirements:
- Experience in Design and development of exterior (Front, Rear and Center) lighting using Catia V5.
- Concept developments, Analytical calculations on design requirements.
- Experience in lamp integration with vehicle is preferred.
- Experience in designing Lamp housing, Heatsink, 2K Lens, light blades, Bezels, Base plates Lamp assemblies.
- Experience in DFA, DFM evaluations for Metal Plastic parts, Gap and Flush, Tolerance calculation.
- Integration of electrical PCB’s, connectors with space optimization techniques.
- Knowledge on thermal, mechanical and defogging requirements for lamps.
- 2D drawings creation for mechanical parts with suitable tolerance scheme.
- Experience in release of 3D and 2D in PLM system.
- Must have lighting program work experience.
- Working experience in Automotive lighting development.
- Team player, Self-learner/motivated.
- Agile to learn new & advanced skills.
- Self-confidence.
- Good team worker.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- English is a must.
- Knowledge of other languages (Japanese) is added advantage.
- BE or BTech / M.Sc/ M.E in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
