Responsibilities:

• Working with Tier-1/OEM team for acceptance, release & improvements.
• Should coordinate with engineers located at different global technical centers.
• Co-ordination with OEM and supplier resident engineer if required.
• Team player, Self-learner/motivated.
• Own responsibilities.

Requirements:

• Experience in Design and development of exterior (Front, Rear and Center) lighting using Catia V5.
• Concept developments, Analytical calculations on design requirements.
• Experience in lamp integration with vehicle is preferred.
• Experience in designing Lamp housing, Heatsink, 2K Lens, light blades, Bezels, Base plates Lamp assemblies.
• Experience in DFA, DFM evaluations for Metal Plastic parts, Gap and Flush, Tolerance calculation.
• Integration of electrical PCB’s, connectors with space optimization techniques.
• Knowledge on thermal, mechanical and defogging requirements for lamps.
• 2D drawings creation for mechanical parts with suitable tolerance scheme.
• Experience in release of 3D and 2D in PLM system.
• Must have lighting program work experience.
• Working experience in Automotive lighting development.
• Team player, Self-learner/motivated.
• Agile to learn new & advanced skills.
• Self-confidence.
• Good team worker.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• English is a must.
• Knowledge of other languages (Japanese) is added advantage.
• BE or BTech / M.Sc/ M.E in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
