Executive Sous Chef/Sous Chef - Upscale Casual Restaurant

$80,000 - $90,000 + Bonus

YOUR ROLE WITH THE COMPANY:

The Executive Sous Chef/Sous Chef supports the Executive Chef with managing the kitchen staff, labor and food costs, production, quality and presentation. Primary duties and responsibilities include:

• Supervise, train, and coach kitchen staff
• Manage food production
• Support the Executive Chef with scheduling, ordering, inventory, quality, presentation
• Ensure safety and sanitation compliance
• Other duties as dictated by Executive Chef in order to run smooth operations

BACKGROUND PROFILE :

• 2+ Years experience as an Executive Sous Chef/Sous Chef (or comparable role) for an upscale-casual or fine-dining restaurant
• Experience with upscale local or regional restaurant groups is preferred
• Able to work under pressure with ease, especially during very busy meal periods
• Display strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Loyal and passionate about service
• Local candidates highly preferred
