Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for evaluating project costs and preparing accurate estimates for commercial construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes and the ability to analyze complex project specifications to ensure precise budget planning.
Key Responsibilities - Review project specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work required.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment necessary for commercial construction projects.
- Analyze bid documents and prepare bids for submission to clients.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure estimates are aligned with project objectives.
- Monitor and adjust estimates based on changes in project scope or market conditions.
- Maintain and update a database of historical costs to improve future estimates.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as an Estimator in commercial construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of estimation software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Effective communication skills to work with clients and project teams.
