ELECTRICAL PROJECT MANAGER - CHICAGO, IL
Delta Construction Partners is a national executive search firm representing top-tier electrical and general contractors. We have been retained by a confidential client to conduct a search for an Electrical Project Manager in Chicago, Illinois .
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $90,000 – $110,000

Experience Preferred
- Hospitals, wastewater treatment plants, and airports
- Background as an Estimator or Project Engineer
- Field experience is a strong plus
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee full electrical construction scope from preconstruction through close-out
- Interface with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and field crews
- Ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and aligned with design specifications
- Interpret schematics and wiring diagrams to produce layouts and materials lists
- Manage all financial aspects including budgets, buyouts, billing, and change orders
- Approve transactions, subcontractor requisitions, material purchases, etc.
- Maintain project documentation and logs
- Contribute to value engineering, project accounting, and BIM coordination
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred
- 2–4 years of electrical project management experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera), and BIM/CAD tools
- Union or non-union backgrounds welcome
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred but not required: PMP Certification
