About the Role and Your Impact

Community.com is looking for an SEO-savvy Content Writer who knows how to blend search strategy with thoughtful, human-centered storytelling to craft compelling, high-performing content that ranks. In this role, you’ll help us grow organic traffic, improve search engine and AI visibility, educate our audience, and make the value of Community.com clear at every stage of the funnel.

You’ll write everything from blog posts and landing pages to toolkits and customer case studies—always with the goal of creating content that ranks, resonates and converts.

What You’ll Do

  • Research, write and edit high-quality optimized SEO-driven content that supports growth, awareness, and conversion goals
  • Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and shape our editorial calendar
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and design teams to ensure messaging consistency and brand alignment
  • Refresh and optimize existing content to boost performance and maintain relevance
  • Improve on-page optimization and keyword targeting of existing web pages
  • Help evolve and uphold our brand voice—approachable, insightful, and creator-first
  • Monitor content performance using tools like Google Analytics, Ahrefs, and Clearscope, and iterate based on data
  • Stay up-to-date with evolving SEO trends, algorithm updates, and AI search tools to continuously improve content effectiveness

What You’ll Bring

  • Have 2+ years of experience in content writing with a focus on SEO (preferably in SaaS, tech, or the creator space)
  • Know how to turn a target keyword into a compelling story—not just a checklist of optimizations
  • Proven success in ranking content on the first page of Google (with examples)
  • Deep understanding of on-page SEO, search intent, and keyword optimization
  • Have experience using SEO tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Clearscope, or similar
  • Understand how to write for different audiences (marketers, creators, artists, celebrities entrepreneurs) and stages of the buyer journey
  • Excellent grammar, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Are organized, deadline-driven, and excited to contribute to a growing brand
  • Genuinely care about voice, tone, and creating content that connects

Compensation & Benefits

  • Compensation: $70,000 annually
  • Equity: RSUs with a 4-year vesting schedule and 1-year cliff.
  • Health & Wellness: Medical, dental, and vision insurance; FSAs and HSAs.
  • Retirement: 401(k) plan.
  • Time Off: Unlimited PTO, 13 paid holidays, and flexible scheduling.
  • Growth: Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
  • positive, humble attitude and a strong work ethic are a must.

Community is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We commit ourselves to inclusivity across race, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, body size, disability, age, and class - in everything we do.
