Sugaright, a subsidiary of the company, is a major producer of liquid sugar in North America, with eight production and storage facilities. Sugaright uses innovative technology to produce tailor-made liquid sugar products for food and beverage companies in the USA and Mexico.

Job Responsibilities:

• The Commodity Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing full logistics lifecycle of bulk sugar shipments, including loading, and discharging processes, international documentation issuance and customs entry where applicable.
• Closely monitoring all operations to ensure that receivables/deliveries are executed in accordance with contractual obligations.
• Proactively identify potential logistic problems prior to shipments, monitor them closely and make best efforts to avoid these problems throughout execution.
• Final settlements with contractual parties including but not limited to laytime and specifications; premiums and/or penalties directly related to sugar quality.
• Coordinate with and update the necessary departments internally at CSC Sugar, LLC to assure that contractual settlements are made per governing contractual terms.
• Review and process primary invoices as well as invoices for ancillary costs related to operations.
• Maintain daily spreadsheets by entering logistical details of transactions directly related to operations day to day activities.
• Maintain up to date records of operations execution using in house applications to properly track status of shipments.
• Organize and maintain all correspondence and pertinent documentation for each transaction updated electronically in company's Operations Filing System to ensure all departments can easily access necessary information.
• Executing vessel operations of Voyage and Time Chartered vessels as chartered by CSC Sugar, LLC.
• Freight Invoicing, laytime calculations and Time-Charter Hire Calculations of all chartered vessels.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively engage others as necessary to resolves issues.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with a high commitment to meeting deadlines.
• Effective and professional communication skills with ability to communicate with supply chain partners and suppliers.
• Detail oriented with high attention to accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel – minimum intermediate, PowerPoint, Word) required.
• Knowledge of Incoterms and general shipping practices required.
• Basic accounting skills are desirable.
• Fluency in second language, ideally Spanish, Portuguese, Italian or French preferred.
