Job Description
As a Lab Technician, you will play a crucial role in the sample collection and preparation process, ensuring that all samples are accurately handled before ICP testing. You will be responsible for preparing and labeling samples for lab analysts, conducting laboratory analysis, and documenting data.
Responsibilities
Collect samples and prepare them for analysis.
Ensure accurate sample processing before ICP testing.
Bring samples to the lab for preparation and run XRF analysis.
Conduct ICP prep work for analysts and run initial ICP-MS testing.
Document data and report findings to the Lab Manager.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in quality control and chemistry.
Experience in laboratory sample preparation.
Knowledge of wet chemistry and titration.
Familiarity with quality assurance and inspection processes.
Experience with ICP-MS testing.
Work Environment
This position follows a 2-2-3 rotating schedule from 7pm to 7am. The work environment is a mix of a plant setting, where samples are retrieved, and a laboratory. Full PPE and a fitted respirator are required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eagan, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $31.00/hr.
