Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking commercial vehicle Drivers to deliver various grades of gasoline to local business fleets and other customers in the Tampa area.  All routes are local.  Drivers never go further than 100 miles from the trucking depot.  New Drivers earn $25 per hour with an increase to $26 at the end of the probationary period, between 90 and 120 days.  Drivers also earn a quarterly incentive bonus based on the number of gallons they deliver.  Benefits include medical insurance for the Driver and qualified dependents with coverage in effect at 30 days of employment, 401K with a matching contribution up to 4%, PTO time accrual beginning at 90 days, and Uniform reimbursement for drivers.

• Drive company-owned commercial vehicles with various grades of gasoline.
• Directly pump gas from tanker to customer vehicle/asset.
• Ensure safety and best practices are always followed.
• Maintain regular communication with logistics.
• Follow all route guidance.
• Completes required safety pre and post-inspections.
• Utilize company technology to manage fuel inventory and customer delivery requirements accurately.
• Complies with all state and local DOT laws.
• Fills tankers with needed fuel for delivery.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Valid Florida-issued CDL A or B.
• Minimum of two years of commercial driving experience.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements for at least one year.
• Preference for candidates who have completed a formal driving training program or attended driver training school.
• No major violations (reckless driving, fleeing the scene, accident resulting in serious injury or death, speeds greater than 20 mph in a given zone, drug or alcohol related).
• Pass background checks including Motor Vehicle Report.
• Clear a pre-employment drug screening.
• No more than 3 minor violations in the prior 36-month period.
• Team player/flexibility.
• Customer Service skills
• Some weekend availability 

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to get in and out of the truck multiple times per shift.
• Must be able to carry hoses that weigh up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to climb ladders.
