Job Description

GDIT's Federal Health team is hiring a Business Process Analyst/ Site Manager to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Conversion Services (CS) contract, with a focus on improving response time to Veteran benefit requests through the digitization of Veteran records.

In this role, you will lead training, become a subject matter expert on Conversion Services and Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA) projects, collaborate with Internal GDIT stakeholders, customer and scanning vendors to achieve deliverables and drive operational outcomes, innovation, and resolution for project barriers.

Candidates must be willing to rotate between vendor facilities located in London, KY and Mount Vernon, KY.

Work sponsorship will not be considered for this role.

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

• Analyze business and technical processes to formulate and develop business information processing systems.
• Coordinate with business and technology teams
• Provide expertise on continuous process improvement strategies, organizational redesign, change management projects, and performance measures for basic business process engagements
• Identify and analyzes business needs, conducts requirements gathering, and defines scope and objectives.
• Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to identifying and eliminating duplication, outsourcing opportunities, streamlining, centralizing, business improvement processes, manufacturing improvement processes, and/or vendor selection
• Use quantitative analysis methodology to perform data, cost and benefit, and/or process measurement analysis
• Research industry trends for application of process improvement techniques and best practices
• Partner with business process owners and management on strategic initiatives
• May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals
• May serve as a team or task lead

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Technical Training, Certification(s) or Associate Degree
• 3+ years of related experience as a business, program or operations analyst
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook and Teams.
• Ability to pass a T2 security investigation.

WHAT WOULD BE EVEN BETTER:

• Prior experience supporting the VA
• Experience with VA systems & applications such as: SMTS (Source Material Tracking System) , VBMS (Veterans Benefits Management System) , SHARE and CLEAR applications
