An elite Top50 AM Law global firm is seeking an associate to join their esteemed Bankruptcy & Business Reorganization Practice Group at either of their New York or Boston offices. This is a unique opportunity to work at a well-respected, full-service firm with a strong presence across major U.S. markets and international reach.

Requirements

Candidates require experience in:

• representing debtors, secured creditors, indenture trustees, bondholder and noteholder groups, collateral agents, bidders and acquirers, creditor committees, trustees, unsecured creditors, liquidation trustees, plan administrators and disbursing agents, and other stakeholders in Chapter 11 proceedings.
• corporate reorganization matters.
• corporate trust and inter-creditor issues.
• bankruptcy and default matters.
• drafting motions and pleadings, forbearance agreements, complaints, settlement agreement, sale related documents, including bidding procedures, asset purchase agreements and orders, plans of reorganizations and related pleadings.
• presenting motions to the bankruptcy court or other insolvency proceedings such as receiverships, and attending evidentiary hearings.

Salary

The expected salary range for this position is between $290,000 - $390,000.
