Fresh Baguette is a fast-growing, artisanal bakery known for its high-quality standards and modern atmosphere. The company was founded in Bethesda, MD in 2013, to bring fresh, made-from-scratch organic breads, pastries, sweets, and croissant items inspired by bakeries in France to the DMV area. We have expanded to eight retail locations, a production bakery, and a thriving wholesale business. We serve coffee shops, restaurants, hotels, and grocery stores with fresh products every day, 365 days a year.

Our obsession with quality is part of the passion here at Fresh Baguette. Take, for example, the process of making our signature baguettes: a cold-dough process that produces unique flavors, homemade levain, and made using state-of-the-art equipment imported from France. The end result is a baguette that is authentic with moisture and just the right crunch. In addition, it takes two days, 11 steps, carefully selected ingredients, and the skill of a pastry chef to make our soft and flaky, mouthwateringly tender croissant.

About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Baker to join our Baking department at our Fresh Baguette Germantown production center, 19548 Amaranth Drive Germantown, MD 20874. This full-time, hourly position is perfect for someone ready to dive into the world of professional baking. As a Baker, you will play a key role in preparing delicious bread and baked goods while maintaining the highest food safety and quality standards. This is a fantastic opportunity for a fast learner and team player who is punctual, reliable, and eager to grow in a collaborative environment.
This is an entry-level position. You will receive proper training from our professional bakers who know the ins and outs of handcrafting high-quality artisanal organic breads.
