Assistant Project Manager – Multifamily Construction

📍 Location: McKinney, TX (On-site)

About the Role

A well-established general contractor in the Dallas–Fort Worth area is seeking two Assistant Project Managers (APMs) to support ongoing multifamily construction projects . These roles offer the opportunity to work alongside a seasoned project management team in a company known for its collaborative culture, strong leadership, and commitment to developing its people.

As an APM, you’ll play a vital role in supporting project execution from start to finish — coordinating schedules, managing subcontractors, handling RFIs and submittals, and ensuring quality, budget, and timeline alignment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Project Managers with planning, coordination, and execution of multifamily construction projects .
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, and documentation within Procore .
  • Interface directly with subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of project deliverables.
  • Attend project meetings and maintain accurate notes, logs, and reports.
  • Contribute to risk assessment and implement mitigation plans.
  • Monitor field activities to ensure alignment with project plans, safety standards, and deadlines.
  • Uphold company processes and systems with precision and accountability.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of construction project management experience (multifamily experience required).
  • Hands-on experience with Procore and Bluebeam (required); CMiC preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the Office Suite (testing required prior to hire).
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working within an established system.
  • Demonstrated stability in work history and commitment to long-term growth.

Compensation & Benefits

💰 Base Salary: $90,000 – $120,000 (DOE)
