Job Description

The Talent Acquisition Specialist collaborates closely with the HR team, playing a role in managing recruitment activities and fostering candidate relationships. This position often serves as candidates' first point of contact, making a lasting impression. The ideal candidate will excel in working with both internal and external applicants, possess excellent communication and relationship management skills, and be able to adapt quickly to changing circumstances. Success in this role involves thriving in a fast-paced environment, managing high-volume staffing needs, and contributing to the growth of a talented workforce.

  • Engage with job applicants and talent leads to build strong candidate pipelines.
  • Actively source qualified candidates through job boards, social media, professional associations, and talent databases.
  • Evaluate resumes and conduct initial phone interviews; coordinate directly with candidates and hiring teams, including arranging travel for in-person interviews when needed.
  • Assess applicants’ qualifications, experience, and fit for open roles based on job criteria.
  • Maintain consistent communication with candidates, providing updates on their application status via phone and email.
  • Prepare offer letters and guide candidates through pre-employment steps such as background checks, drug testing, and verification of driving records.
  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers and HR partners to understand staffing needs and deliver effective recruitment solutions.
