Are you an experienced Statistician with a desire to excel? If so, then Talent Software Services may have the job for you! Our client is seeking an experienced Statistician to work at their company in Rahway, NJ.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Develop study design (DOE), statistical analysis, and reported output using in-house developed JMP tools in fast-paced, critical path projects.
• Participate in process characterization teams to understand requirements to design study experiments and discuss results. Experiment design entails having joint conversations with the Process scientists/engineers to discuss the issues and constraints on study design and execution.
• Work with Process Scientists/Engineers to complete study reports as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum education: Master's in statistics/biostatistics or related discipline (e.g., chemical, industrial engineering) with a minimum of 2 years’ experience, or PhD or equivalent degree with a minimum of 1 year relevant work experience.
• Proven experience applying DOE to real-life process development problems.
• Solid knowledge of statistical analysis methodologies and experimental design.
• Strong hands-on experience with JMP and working knowledge of other statistical and data processing software (e.g., Minitab)
• Must also demonstrate the ability to learn, be proactive and motivated, and consistently focus on details and execution.
• Strong oral and written communication skills. Able to function effectively in a team environment.
• Exposure working with other scientists – the candidate must be willing to have a regular dialogue with team members.
• Experience with Design of Experiments.
• Preferred would be someone who has experience in the industry- Bio-pharma/Medical device/ Pharma-internships-actual co-op with the companies/industry for a minimum of 2 years.
• This is a hands-on project facing an opportunity.
