Senior Environmental, Health and Safety Manager

Champaign, Illinois

$110,000 - $148,000 + Bonus + Further Benefits + Relocation Support (if required)

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced EHS professional to step into a visible, site-wide leadership position within a global food manufacturing group. The facility runs 24/7 and is a significant employer in the local area, operating across a wide range of manufacturing processes and equipment.

This role offers the chance to shape EHS strategy, lead continuous improvement across safety and environmental performance, and influence senior stakeholders within one of the most respected brands in the industry.

What can you expect in this role?

• Lead and deliver the site's long-term EHS strategy, bringing together safety and environmental priorities into a cohesive plan.
• Provide visible, "boots-on-the-ground" leadership, building engagement, accountability, and ownership across all departments.
• Partner with the senior leadership team to develop and implement strategic objectives that strengthen the site's safety culture.
• Work alongside compliance teams to ensure alignment with all relevant OSHA and EPA requirements.
• Support the development of dedicated EHS resources across the site, guiding and mentoring future leaders.
• Drive continuous improvement in EHS processes, systems, and reporting standards.

What we're looking for:

• Proven track record leading EHS within large-scale manufacturing or food production environments.
• Capable of building high-performing teams and influencing cross-functional leaders.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, environmental compliance, and EHS best practices
• Ability to combine long-term planning with hands-on operational leadership.
