Senior Estimator – Construction

💼 Full-Time | On-Target Earnings (OTE): $130,000 | Growth Opportunity

Join a dynamic and growing construction team in Miami ! We’re seeking a Senior Estimator to take the lead on developing accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for major commercial and restoration projects.

As a Senior Estimator, you’ll collaborate closely with project managers, clients, and vendors to ensure precision in every proposal. You’ll play a critical role in planning, development, and negotiation — while mentoring junior estimators and helping shape the success of future projects.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare detailed estimates for materials, equipment, utilities, and labor.
• Analyze construction documents, drawings, and specifications to produce accurate bids.
• Manage pre-qualification and pre-bid submissions.
• Coordinate project planning and scheduling to meet critical milestones.
• Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.
• Provide consistent updates to management and clients on project status.
• Develop contingency plans and manage risks related to cost and scheduling.
• Stay current with estimating software, industry trends, and best practices.
• Mentor and support Estimators and Junior Estimators.
• Conduct site visits and participate in bid deliveries when required.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering , Construction Management , or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in construction estimating.
• Strong background in façade restoration, concrete repair, masonry, waterproofing, coatings, sealants, windows, and doors .
• Excellent communication, management, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Sage Estimating, Pictometry, Planswift, Excel, and Microsoft Project .
• Ability to travel locally for site visits and perform physical take-offs when needed.
