Job Title: Radiation Therapist

Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado, 81601

Contract duration: 13 weeks

Shift:5X8-hours

Schedule: Days

Guaranteed Hours: 40/week

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer ionizing radiation for disease treatment.
• Apply knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, medical terminology, oncology, radiobiology, and radiation physics.
• Demonstrate skill in radiation oncology techniques, safety practices, and patient care.
• Provide support and empathy for the psychosocial needs of cancer patients.
• Simulation experience
• Proficiency in radiation safety practices and compliance with regulations.
• Ability to interpret and deliver treatment plans per physician instructions and protocols.
• Experience with modern radiation therapy delivery systems and imaging systems.
• Breath Hold
• SRS & SBRT
• Superficial treatments
• HDR (High Dose Rate) brachytherapy
• Working knowledge of Mosaiq (highly preferred).

Requirements:

• Successful completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy training program .
• Current R.T. (T) certification with active maintenance of certification.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Radiation Oncology.
• Strong Simulation experience required.
• Experience with training/mentoring peers in Simulation techniques preferred.
