Production Supervisor

Location: Toledo Molding & Die – OEM Manufacturing Site

About the Role

Toledo Molding & Die is seeking a motivated Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing operations in our plastic injection molding facility. This role is responsible for supervising production teams, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, and driving efficiency across operations. The Production Supervisor plays a key role in meeting customer requirements, reducing downtime, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in an OEM manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of production team members in the injection molding department.
• Ensure safety procedures and company policies are followed at all times.
• Monitor production processes to meet established quality standards, customer specifications, and delivery schedules.
• Partner with engineering, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve production issues quickly and effectively.
• Track and report production performance, including scrap, downtime, and efficiency metrics.
• Support team development through coaching, training, and performance management.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to reduce waste, increase productivity, and optimize labor utilization.
• Communicate daily goals, priorities, and expectations to team members across shifts.
• Participate in problem-solving activities to address manufacturing and equipment concerns.
• Support lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment (plastic injection molding experience strongly preferred).
• Strong knowledge of OEM manufacturing processes, with an understanding of injection molding operations.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop production teams.
• Solid problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis and corrective action.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient with production reporting systems, Microsoft Office, and manufacturing software.
• Flexibility to work across shifts and adapt to changing priorities.
