Job Description

1. GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
• Perform assembly and packer operations of products manufactured in the Plastic Molding Department (PMD). Understands and performs daily job duties in a manner which supports the Company / Department SAFETY – QUALITY – PRODUCTION goals and objectives.

HOURS ARE 11 PM - 7:30 AM.

1. MAJOR TASKS – RESPONSIBILITIES
• Operation of the riveting machine
• Trimming of products
• Visual inspection of plastic products
• Packing of product
• Communicating issues with supervision and technical personnel
• Operating auxiliary equipment needed to produce finished goods and work in process (WIP)
• Staplers
• Carton Sealing machinery
• Any assignment as directed per management within the scope of personal capabilities
1. INDIRECT TASKS
• Housekeeping
• Quality control inspections per customer or Zenith specifications
• Participate in department meetings
1. PERSONNEL CHARACTERISTICS
• Demonstrated ability to write legibly, to maintain records, and to give and follow oral and written instructions.
• Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels.
• Lifting of up to 35 pounds frequently
• Able to stand for duration of shift
1. RIGHTS & DUTIES
• Works according to priorities set by the Production Manager
• Complies with the regulations and guidelines of conduct in place at Zenith;
• Meets the requirements of safety, hygiene and quality of Zenith;
