Job Title: Payroll Specialist

Location: Fullerton, CA

Position Type: Contract to hire

Pay: $30 - $38 per hour (Based on Experience)

Experience: 5+ years of full-cycle payroll

You will be the sole payroll individual

We are currently seeking a Payroll Specialist for a direct hire position located in Fullerton, California. Our client, a reputable organization, is looking for an experienced individual to manage full-cycle payroll processes. If you have expertise in payroll, experience with ADP WFN, and strong Excel skills, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

As a Payroll Specialist, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Full-Cycle Payroll: Manage end-to-end payroll processes, including deductions, garnishments, and adding new employees to the system.
• Perform bi-weekly payroll
• Employee Payroll: Perform payroll for a workforce of 450 employees.
• Balance payroll budget including commissions, bonuses, regular and OT wages.
• Review timecard punches and make edits if needed.
• Retrieve appropriate approval from manager for timecards
• Set up direct deposits

Qualifications:

• 5+ years relevant experience in full-cycle payroll processes.
• Exposure to ADP WFN.
• Familiarity with multi-state payroll, including California and Pennsylvania.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in payroll data entry.
• Effective communication and organizational skills.
