Job Description
Compensation: $125,000 - $135,000 base plus bonus
Responsibilities:
- Lead the U.S. payroll processing team to ensure correct calculations, tax treatment, payroll reconciliation, and process outputs (third party, financial systems, etc.)
- Lead the International payroll processing team to ensure proper coordination with in-country payroll processing providers.
- Guide the payroll team during payroll processing, complex calculations, and other scenarios related to executing the payroll.
- Review payroll/benefit calculations and processing results.
- Consult with external vendors to resolve payroll issues and process each payroll. Follow through on all issues to a successful resolution.
- Lead all quarter-end closing activities, including W2, W2Cs, and all related tax filings.
- Mentor and train team on payroll and onboarding/offboarding employees.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
- 7+ years of U.S Payroll experience
- 2+ years of international payroll experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of ADP WorkforceNow experience.
- Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred.
- Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and drive process change.
- Prior implementation experience
