Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role for an Outdoor Early Childhood Educator specifically working with Kindergarten/1st grade at All Friends Nature School, located in San Diego County, CA. The educator will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging outdoor learning activities that foster physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development. Responsibilities include facilitating play-based learning, guiding students in nature explorations, and supporting children's individual growth. The role involves close collaboration with parents and staff to create a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Early Childhood Development and Working With Children skills
• Strong Interpersonal Skills and Organization Skills
• Creativity in developing engaging and educational activities
• Excellent communication skills with children, parents, and staff
• Experience in outdoor education or nature-based learning is preferred
• Certification in Early Childhood Education or a related field is a plus
• 12 core early childhood education units
• First Aid and CPR certification is require
