Overview

UF Health Physician Practices in Central Florida is seeking a skilled and motivated Office Manager to lead our Orthopedics department. As the Office Manager, you’ll oversee the daily operations of one or more orthopedic physician practices, ensuring smooth workflows, outstanding patient experiences, and high team performance. You will play a key role in supporting our physicians and staff while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily practice operations, including scheduling, staffing, patient flow, and administrative processes.
• Lead and develop a team of 5 or more staff members, promoting teamwork and professional growth.
• Monitor operational metrics and financial performance to ensure efficiency and sustainability.
• Collaborate with physicians, providers, and leadership to enhance patient satisfaction and streamline workflows.
• Ensure compliance with UF Health standards, policies, and healthcare regulations.
• Manage budgets, inventory, and resource allocation to support department goals.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Experience & Skills:

• Minimum 2 years of medical practice management experience required
• Proven experience supervising teams of 5 or more employees
• Orthopedics experience strongly preferred
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
• Excellent command of English (reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension)
