Position Overview :

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Gastroenterologist to join our medical facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing and treating digestive system disorders, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care. This position offers an opportunity to work with a diverse patient population in a collaborative and innovative environment.

Practice Details

• Outpatient only practice
• Office hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (last patient scheduled at 4:15 pm)

Partnership

• Partnership with No Buy-in Required
• Malpractice and Tail insurance provided
• Reimbursement for DEA, medical license, CME
• Be involved in the governance of the group

Key Responsibilities :

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders, including but not limited to GERD, IBS, IBD, liver disease, and colorectal cancer.
• Perform diagnostic procedures such as colonoscopy , endoscopy , capsule endoscopy , and biopsy .
• Interpret and explain diagnostic test results to patients and their families.
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
• Administer medications and other interventions as needed to treat digestive health issues.
• Provide patient education on diet, lifestyle changes, and other preventive measures.
• Collaborate with other specialists, nurses, and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in gastroenterology and integrate them into patient care.
• Participate in on-call duties as required.

Required Qualifications :

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology .
• Valid and unrestricted medical license in Arizona
• Strong clinical skills with proficiency in performing gastrointestinal procedures (e.g., endoscopies, colonoscopies).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Ability to manage complex medical cases and work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Strong commitment to patient care and continuing education.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Fellowship in Gastroenterology .
• Experience with advanced procedures and technologies (e.g., endoscopic ultrasound, ERCP).
• Bilingual (preferred, depending on patient demographic).
