Tittle: Administrative Assistant

Location: Duarte, CA

Duration: 3+ Months

Position Overview/Project Details:

• First and foremost, candidates should be familiar with COH and, more importantly, pathology.
• This role provides comprehensive administrative and analytical support to ensure the smooth and effective operation of the Department of Pathology daily.
• The position demands discretion, professionalism, and strong organizational skills to manage complex and confidential tasks.
• Key responsibilities include managing departmental budgets, accounts, purchasing, personnel, and facilities; coordinating faculty appointments, promotions, and events such as symposiums and research forums; and serving as a primary liaison for faculty, staff, and external visitors.
• The position handles sensitive information with sound judgment, facilitates communication and scheduling for meetings and travel, and supports policy development through data analysis and operational oversight.
• Independence, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities are essential for success and departmental growth.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

• At least one year in an Administrative Support position with a preference for 2 years.

Minimum Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree required, Master's preferred.
