  • Job Status: Contract, Hourly, Part-Time (80 hours a month/20hrs a week)
  • Location: Los Angeles or Portland, Oregon (must already be located in these cities)
  • Compensation: School credit or $15/hr

    Position Overview

    We’re seeking a Graphic Design Intern who is passionate about visual storytelling, eager to learn, and excited to contribute to meaningful client campaigns. This role will support our creative and marketing team with a variety of visual projects—from social media content to pitch decks and brand collateral.

    Essential Duties

    • Assist in creating graphics for social media, email campaigns, websites, and presentations
    • Support the development of brand templates and client deliverables
    • Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and visualize campaign concepts
    • Edit existing files and make design updates as needed
    • Ensure consistency with brand guidelines and messaging across platforms
    • Help organize and maintain digital asset libraries
    • Assist with the creation of mood boards and visual inspiration decks
    • Participate in internal creative reviews and provide feedback on drafts
    • Occasionally assist with client design needs for promotional materials or events

    Requirements

    • Strong desire to learn with a collaborative, professional mindset
    • Solid understanding of design principles (typography, layout, composition)
    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)
    • Basic knowledge of Canva and Figma is a plus
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Familiarity with current social media trends and digital formats
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to receive and apply feedback
    • Current enrollment in or recent graduate of a graphic design or related creative program
    • Portfolio or samples of work (class projects accepted)
